Eurotherm chimney gas boilers

KT TS(P2) and KT TV(P2) devices are intended for heat supply of individual houses, apartments and constructions of household appointment supplied with natural or artificial circulation water heating systems of the heat carrier with the working pressure of water up to 0,2 MPa (2 bars) and the maximum water temperature at the exit from a copper to 900C.

Household heating gas devices with KT TS(P2) steel heat recovery system are intended for water heating in water heating systems only. KT TV(P2) with the steel heat double-circuit recovery system devices are intended water heating in water heating systems and water heating for hot water supply (with copper heat recovery system’s bypass duct). By placing main body’s special design copper exchanger into water cavity it is possible to produce hot water for household needs. Copper heat recovery system’s thermal capacity does not exceed the unit’s nominal heat output.

Devices compile of such parts:

  • heat recovery systems with furnace and combustion products’ intake tank;
  • gas-oil unit with autogenous automatic equipment;
  • decorative case.

The device, executed in form box-type structure form, is intended for floor-level installation near the outer wall. All basic elements of the device are fixed in its single case which is structurally unites fire-tube the heat recovery system 1 , furnace 2 , combustion products’ intake tank 3 and gas fuel unit 4 . The copper’s heat recovery system represents sheet steel and pipes pieces welded construction which form two cavities which are not connected among themselves. There is water in one of them (heated medium), and moving combustion products (gas air environment) in the other. The heat recovery unit is manufactured so that there was large free space limited from the back and to each side, forming the furnace 2 in its lower part. the bunch of heat recovery system tubes that connects furnace to the air-gas flow path’s upper part – the combustion products’ intake tank 3 is located over a furnace, in the upper part of which there is a special branch pipe for сombustion products’ organized tapping into a chimney.

The gas fuel unit 4 represents metal plate 5 ( frontal leaf) with the side outer of which the gas spray header 7 is fixed , and the main burners 19 are placed on the inside against flow diffusers. The flame-igniter (pilot burner) 6 block is also attached to the frontal leaf , consisting of actually igniter, and thermocouple and thermogenerating room located on its both sides, and ignition biosencing electrode is also fixed over it. The frontal leaf is attached to heat recovery system in such a way that burners and working parts flame-igniter block are placed into furnace, and the spray header along with thermal couple lead and thermogenerating room, are out of furnace. The spray header gas delivery is made through gas pressure regulator (autogenous automatic equipment) 8 with piezo-element fixed on it. The gas-pressure reducer is attached to the spray header and flame-igniter by pipelines. The heat recovery system with furnace is covered with effective metal-clad outside surface thermal insulation.

The decoratory case of the device consists of two side 9 , front 10 and upper walls 11 . The gas fittings governing bodies are removed through the top wall of its front part. Access to governing bodies in KT 20 TS(P2), KT 20 TV(P2) and KT 30 TS(P2) devices is limited by decorative opening plastic cover 18 . The branch pipes 12 and 13 which can be located both on the back wall, as well as on sidewalls of the device, depending on its model are removed by for device connection to outer heating pipelines from its corresponding elements. The GVS edge’s pipeline connection is piped behind through branch pipes 14, 15 . The combustion products formed in furnaces pass through heat recovery system consisting of several fire-tube 20 rows where stainless steel turbulizers 21 are placed for heat exchange intensification. The draft stabilizer 16 is located over the heat recovery system with the draft sensor 17 mounted on it. The draft stabilizer is intended for external meteorological factors (temperature, humidity, wind speed) per furnace draft intensity influence decrease.

DESIGN FEATURES

They use devices for burning air of the room in which they are established (have the open combustion chamber). The combustion products’ withdrawal is conducted into a flue. The air intake smoke fumes expulsion is performed naturally — at the expense of density difference. Devices are supplied with draft stabilizers and have the combustion products withdrawal monitoring system. Thanks to the GVS built-in copper heat recovery unit the device provides water heating for domestic needs. The steel heat exchanger is executed from thick-walled boiler pipes with built-in turbulizers stainless steel that increases exploitation period of the device and long-term maintenance of its operational specifications. At the expense of heat exchanger’s original design and burning air supply optimum organization, the devices functional operation is silent.

The device’s design provides:

• automatic maintenance of given heat carrier temperature;
• gas-feeding block signaling in case of short-term interruption in gas supply or in case of main or pilot burner’s blackout;
• gas-feeding block signaling in case of combustion products’ ingress to the room where the device is established;
• heating area where the device without radiator application is established.
